Abyss is equipped and qualified for most subsea operations. The 15 commercial divers, permanently employed, operate from modern diving-vessels or from mobile, landbased stations. Abyss undertakes/executes most subsea operations:
- Ships/Offshore: Inspections, subsea welding, repairs of hulls, renewal of anods, cleaning of hulls and propellers/thrusters, change of thrusters, subsea valves, etc.
- Construction: concrete work, construction of quays, subsea pipelines, mapping of seabed (OLEX, sidescanning), removal/sucktion of masses etc.
