Abyss has three (3) diving vessels continuously prepared for emergency tasks.  This preparedness is vitally important to reduce the risk of  mass escape of fish from fishfarms.

Typical incidents causing emergency operations are mass death of fisk, damaged cages, broken moorings, groundings, raising of boats and resque operations. Abyss has experience from a variety of such incidents.

Abyss has complete inspection programs for mooring systems, cages and nets used by the aquaculture industry. Abyss considers advanced expertise in this field to be one of the main efforts to avoid escape of fish from fishfarms.

Abyss is highly specialised on subsea inspections, and is among other things certified for inspections of vessels and rigs by these classification companies:

Inspections vary from a simple inspection of cages/nets to comprising agreements including perodical fitness inspections fulfilling the requirements of maintenance work settled in NS 9415 as well as the supplier`s user`s manual.

Inspections are always completed with documentation in the form ofinspection reports and a survey of all registered deviations. abyss` systems of documentation fulfills the requirements of maintenance log in NS 9415. In case of mooring inspections it may be profitable to undertake inspections of floating devices and cages/nets according to user`manual as well. Abyss is a certified provider of mooringanalyses and supplies everything from moorings for complete fishfarms as well as inspections and adjusting of existing mooring systems.If you order a complete mooringsystem or fishfarm from Abyss, Abyss personnel will  design, projecet and place the fishfarm on the agreed site. Equipment supplier is selected in agreement with customer.
