Abyss is Mid-Norway`s main company in the field of inspecting sites and cages for the fishfarming industry. Besides being specialised on detecting escapes of fish and performing inspections of moorings by means of divers and ROV,  Abyss is certified for classification of vessels and offshore installations. When inspecting quays, subsea pipelines, subsea cables,  systems, etc., quality control procedures and experience from those services are used. Abyss has powerful working vessels with crane/lift capacities up to 50 t/m, which use advanced tools/gear for welding, cutting, drilling as well as hydraulic and pneumatic tools.

Abyss carries out repairs on all kinds of maritime constructions as well as construction / foundamentation of various quay projects.

Abyss has planned and placed several water pipelines, 110-800 mm, on the seabed for both private and public enterprises. New, updated equipment has enabled Abyss to succeed in meeting most challenges. By mapping the seabed in 3-Dwith Olex, we are able to find favourable alignments for pipelines. When a job is completed, it is inspected by ROV to guarantee and substantiate that a task is successfully carried out. Please consult our reference list over completed projects.
