Abyss has concluded that a new mooringsystem should not be approved before a visual inspection has been completed. Abyss is of the opinion that yearly controls of mooring systems is a necessity to prevent wrecking and escape of fish from fishfarms caused by broken moorings. Abyss has established agreements/contracts with several fishfarming companies which have concluded that regular- and systematic inspections of mooring systems are necessary to get a satisfactory control of their fishfarms. Deviations that certainly would have caused escapes have been detected by Abyss, thus losses and harm to environment have been avoided.

Abyss is a certified supplier of moorings. Inspections are followed by a quality secured report, stating the staus of the inspected object. The report is user-friendly and consists of:

- High pressure flushing with divers - for heavy fouling and cages/nets poorly extended
- High pressure flushing with ROV - for both sides and bottom
