Abyss, the Main Subsea Company of Mid-Norway

Abyss (former Noomas Kristiansund as) is the main subsea company of Mid-Norway. The enterprise offers all kinds of subsea services, as well as lifting/crane-, tugging- and workboat operations. This is the only company in Norway which also arranges approved courses for ROV-pilots. The courses fulfil  the requirements of the IMCA standard. 

Abyss employs 20 divers and owns four (4) powerful diving vessels and four (4) ROV systems. Thus the company is qualified for both minor- and  major projects. 

HSEQ is always a main concern, and the company is prequalified in the Achilles Joint Qualification system, certified for In-water Surveys by DNV og ABS. Abyss is also a certified supplier of moorings.
